| Single-Ended Beams
Specifically designed for low profile scales and process applications, single-ended beam load cells are available in capacities ranging from 1,000 lbs up to 20,000 lbs. These load cells are constructed of tool steel as well as stainless steel. When hermetically sealed, a single ended shear beam load cell is ideal for washdown applications. |
|
| Double-Ended Beams
A double-ended shear beam load cell is secured at both ends and the load is applied to the center of the load cell. These load cells are most commonly used in vehicle weighing applications and tank and hopper applications. Like the single ended shear beam load cell, double ended shear beam load cells are also constructed of tool steel or stainless steel. |

| S-Beam
Named for their s-type shape, S beam load cells are most often found in mechanical-to-electronic scale conversion applications, suspended hoppers or tanks and general purpose weighing applications. These load cells are available in capacities ranging from 25 lbs through 20,000 lbs. |
|
| Single Points
These load cells are most commonly found in light capacity bench scale applications and are available in capacities ranging from 1 kg through 1,000 kg. Single point load cells are most commonly made of aluminum. Several models are available with the additional protection of stainless steel. |

| Canisters
Compression canister load cells are ideal for high capacity weighing. These load cells are available in a variety of capacities and are typically used in vehicle weighing applications, and tank and hopper weighing applications. Because canister load cells are hermetically sealed, they provide excellent environmental protection in hazardous environments. |

| OIML
International Organization of Legal Metrology is a world-wide organization whose aims are to standardise regulations and metrological controls applied by the Weights and Measures of its member states. OIML certified load cells can be used as a module in Type Approval Certificates (TACs) throughout Europe. |
